My name is Patricia Coughlin and my paintings reflect my personality - both are a study in contrasts.
These works are bold and dynamic, yet serene; vibrant and neutral; busy yet peaceful; and abstract with hints of the representational. I hope they move and inspire you.
recent work
I just returned from an art residency in France which proved to be a truly fabulous experience. For the first week or so, I was deeply immersed in a burst of artistic productivity, inspired by both the stunning French landscape and the stimulating environment of 20 secluded creatives.
